Hope we could picture ourselves enjoying there on
Friday 4pm, Changi Village
We'll set off from the jetty, spent the night there and have some night activities.
& if we're lucky enough we'll be able to catch the sunrise the following morning!
How To Get There:
Take the MRT to Tampines Station (EW2), then take SBS bus 29 to Changi Village bus interchange, followed by a 10-minute boat ride from the Changi Point jetty.
What To Bring:
Sufficient money for the
-bumboat two-way ride $5
-bicycle rental
-for your meals.
Mosquito repellent, just in case! =P
Torchlight, for those who are afraid of the dark ;)
Some light snacks to munch on for the night chit-chats :D
Some Tips:
-Wear light, breathable clothing.
Wear appropriate footwear that will support and protect your feet.
Wear a hat if much of the walk will be in the open.
-Bring enough drinking water to last your walk. 1 litre per person per 3 hours is a good estimate. Also bring a small easy-to-digest snack to energise yourself.
-Prepare raingear and plastic bags for electronic and other delicate items.
-Bring a notebook to take note of what you saw. Why not start a nature journal? It's a fun way to record your visit and learn more about what you saw.
-Before your walk have a good night's rest, drink plenty of water and have your regular meal.
PS: Good Luck on the term tests smarties!! (:
